Leckie came to Sam when she was approached by her coaches Hannah and Becky Moody and Leckies owner Julie a year and a half ago. Becky had been riding him for Julie and they both thought he would be a great match for Sam, After one sit on him, Sam knew they would get on well. He is so trainable and although sensible, he is nicely sensitive and enthusiastic. Together they have had great success at Novice level, gaining scores of up to 77%. and have just started competing at Elementary level . Her short term goal is to qualify him for this year’s winter Regionals/ Nationals but this time at Elementary and Medium.
